Château Grand Village

France

Château Grand Village is a family-run Bordeaux estate in Mouillac on the Dordogne right bank, owned and managed by the Guinaudeau family under the Société Civile du Château Lafleur. Founded in 1650 by ancestor Jacques Verdery and operated by the family since 1979, it is farmed biodynamically, with practices described as sustainable and organic. The vineyards lie on clay, limestone, and gravel soils and are planted from massal selections of Château Lafleur. Winemaking is hands-on and traditional in approach, with hand-harvested grapes, fermentation in stainless steel and concrete, and ageing for 12 months in barrel, with 30% new oak.
