Producer

Celler Piñol

Spain

Celler Piñol is a fourth-generation, family-owned estate in Batea, DO Terra Alta, where the Piñol family retains close control of production. The winery works with grapes from its own organically managed vineyards, planted in 1908, and focuses on native varieties. Certified organic and producing vegan wines, it uses natural fermentation and organic farming practices. Winemaking is led by Cristina Borrull, with Juanjo Piñol overseeing production decisions. Its wines are made in very limited quantities, reflecting an estate-focused, artisanal approach.
