Producer

Cavicchioli & Figli

Italy

Founded in 1928 by Umberto Cavicchioli, Cavicchioli & Figli remains family-owned and is now operated by his grandsons, Sandro and Claudio, in the Modena–Reggio Emilia area. Sandro Cavicchioli, a graduate of the State Higher Institute for Viticulture and Enology, leads the winemaking. The estate farms roughly 90–95 hectares, including about 70 hectares devoted to Lambrusco di Sorbara, and produces around 10 million bottles annually. Viticulture is conventional, with no organic or sustainability certifications mentioned.
