Antinori Napa Valley is the Antinori family’s Napa estate in California’s Atlas Peak, high in the Vaca Mountain Range. Drawing on a winemaking legacy dating to 1385, the family applies its Old-World experience to a remote mountain site shaped by steep slopes, weathered volcanic soils, southwest exposure, and elevations above the fog line. The estate’s history reflects the revival of a place where viticulture had largely disappeared after phylloxera and Prohibition, followed by decades of work to match varieties and farming to the site’s many soil, aspect, and microclimate variations. The focus is on expressing the authentic signature of the mountain vineyards through refined, ageworthy Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, along with perfumed Chardonnay from the lower benchlands.
