Famille Messager-Germain

France

Founded in 2023 and based in Nuits-Saint-Georges, Famille Messager-Germain is a family-owned Burgundy estate and structured négociant operation run by Adèle Germain and Simon Messager, descendants of established winegrowing families. The domaine farms parcels from Marsannay-la-Côte, Couchey, Fixin, Nuits-Saint-Georges, and Gevrey-Chambertin. Its vineyards are managed according to organic principles, with soil-focused and environmentally respectful practices, though without AB certification. Vinification is precise and minimally interventionist. The estate’s Nuits-Saint-Georges Aux Herbues parcel has marly-limestone soils comparable to those of Vosne-Romanée.
