Producer

Domaine de Marcoux

France

Domaine de Marcoux is a family-owned estate in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, managed by sisters Catherine and Sophie Armenier since the mid-1990s. With a modest 17.5 hectares of vineyards, production is limited to 24,000–48,000 bottles per vintage. The domaine is a pioneer in sustainable viticulture, having been the first in the appellation to adopt biodynamic practices and certified organic since 1991. Vineyards consist of old vines, averaging 50 years, with some over a century old. Winemaking emphasizes natural fermentations, minimal intervention, and no new oak, reflecting a deep commitment to expressing terroir with balance and elegance.
