2022 · Silene Chardonnay

Capensis is a boutique South African producer based in Stellenbosch, backed by Jackson Family Wines owner Barbara Banke. The label released its first Chardonnay in 2013 and introduced its inaugural Stellenbosch red, Silene Cabernet Sauvignon, in 2023. Its wines are made by South African winemaker Graham Weerts, who previously worked in the United States, with a focus on small-lot releases rather than high-volume production.
