Producer

Maison Tardieu-Laurent

France

Maison Tardieu-Laurent is a family-owned négociant-éleveur founded in 1994 and based in Lourmarin, Provence, producing wines from appellations across the Northern and Southern Rhône, including Hermitage and Côte-Rôtie. With no estate vineyards, the house works through meticulous grape selection from long-standing grower partners, often highlighting old vines and terroir expression. The business is wholly owned by the Tardieu family, with founder Michel Tardieu and second-generation oenologist Bastien Tardieu leading the winemaking. The style is traditional and low-intervention, with careful élevage, manual bottling, no fining or only very light fining, and very light filtration. No sustainability certifications or specific farming practices are consistently confirmed in the provided notes.
