Founded in 2020, Great Heart is a small-batch South African winery based in the Western Cape, sourcing grapes from vineyards in Stellenbosch, Swartland and Ceres. It is wholly owned and operated by employees of Mullineux and Leeu Passant, with a profit-sharing model and shareholders directly involved in viticulture and winemaking. The project emphasizes sustainable and ethical farming, without a formal certification noted. Lead winemaker Gynore Hendricks, a Swartland native and 2017 Cape Winemakers Guild Protégé graduate, works with Chris and Andrea Mullineux. The portfolio includes Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Red Blend, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc.
