La Miraja

Italy

La Miraja is a small, family-run estate in Castagnole Monferrato, Piedmont, centered in an historic castle cellar. Led by seventh-generation viticulturist and enologist Eugenio Gatti, the estate carries more than seven generations of local winemaking tradition, with a particular family focus on Ruchè alongside Barbera, Grignolino and Freisa. Its vineyards are farmed traditionally under Piedmont’s integrated agriculture program, following regulated guidelines for treatments and fertilization; no organic certification is noted. The project reflects a strong connection to Monferrato’s land, culture and culinary heritage.
