Domaine Blain-Gagnard

France

Founded in 1980 by Jean-Marc Blain and Claudine Gagnard, Domaine Blain-Gagnard is a family-run Burgundy estate now operated by the couple with their son, Marc-Antonin. The domaine farms around 9 hectares, including significant holdings in Chassagne-Montrachet and Grand Cru parcels. Its vineyards lie on clay-limestone soils and are managed using lutte raisonnée, with sustainable farming practices highlighted but no formal certification cited. The estate grows approximately two-thirds white varieties and one-third red, reflecting the diversity of Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune. Winemaking remains overseen by the family, combining long-standing ownership with hands-on involvement across the domaine.
