Producer

Tilia

Argentina

Tilia’s Argentine wines are made in Junín from vineyards across Mendoza’s Uco Valley, Eastern and Central regions, combining high-altitude freshness with ripe, rich fruit. Affiliated with the Catena wine group, the operation is led by Alejandro Viggiani and Gonzalo Llensa and holds the Bodegas de Argentina Certified Sustainable Seal. Its approach emphasizes traditional farming, ungrafted vines, drip irrigation, biodiversity, climate-change strategies, and support for the local community. The vineyard ecosystem includes native bees, Jarilla plants, and natural pest control, while educational and social programs support rural life. Tilia’s wines are recognized for value and sustainability, with Chardonnay and Malbec receiving particular praise.
