Château L'Eglise-Clinet

France

L’Eglise-Clinet is a family-owned Pomerol estate in Bordeaux, run by the Durantou family since 1983. Denis Durantou modernised the vineyard, and the property is now overseen by his daughters, Constance and Noëmie, with Olivier Gautrat involved in winemaking for the 2022 vintage. The estate follows a traditional, hands-on approach in the vineyard, using Bordelaise and Single Guyot pruning, applying organic compost, and maintaining historic drainage in deep clay-gravel soils. With its long family stewardship and careful viticulture, L’Eglise-Clinet reflects a focused, artisanal style rooted in Pomerol.
