Bussola

Italy

Bussola is a family-owned estate in Valpolicella Classico, founded by Tommaso Bussola and now run with his wife Daniela and sons Giuseppe and Paolo. Paolo leads the winemaking while Tommaso remains involved in the vineyards. The family works ancient, low-yielding clones, including vines up to 80 years old, with careful hand harvesting and grape selection. Farming is chemical-free, using only copper and sulfur, and the estate is certified sustainable by Siquria. Its approach combines daily experimentation and innovation in vineyard and cellar with a clear commitment to Valpolicella tradition and to expressing the character of its land.
