Odile Delpon

France

Odile Delpon is a family-owned estate in Albas, in France’s Sud-Ouest, founded by Odile Delpon and her husband Claude after they inherited the family vineyards, tobacco farm and saffron plantation in 1968. Today, their son Didier Pelvillain runs the estate and makes the wines. The property holds HVE 3 certification and is converting to biodynamic farming, with indigenous yeasts used in the cellar. The vineyards are planted exclusively to Malbec, trained in single Guyot, producing wines rooted in the character of this traditional variety.
