Garesio

Italy

Founded in 2010, Garesio is a family-owned Piedmont winery with vineyards in Serralunga d’Alba, Incisa Scapaccino, Castelnuovo Calcea and Perletto. The estate grows Nebbiolo, Barbera, Pinot Nero, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc; its Nebbiolo vineyards are certified organic, while the other parcels follow integrated or sustainable viticulture without synthetic chemicals. Led in the cellar by Gian Luca Colombo, Garesio pursues minimal intervention and a terroir-focused approach, adapting each vintage’s vinification to express varietal and site character. Traditional methods include long fermentations and macerations, delicate extraction and carefully measured use of large and medium-large oak, including Austrian and Stockinger barrels. The wines are intended as authentic, approachable expressions of their Piedmontese origins. An ancient farmhouse has also been renovated as the Garesio Wine Resort.
