Domaine de Villaine Bouzeron

France

Domaine de Villaine, founded in 1971 by Aubert and Pamela de Villaine in Bouzeron, Burgundy, is a family-run estate. It has been certified organic since 1986 and practices biodynamic viticulture, focusing on low-intervention, terroir-driven wines. The estate is now operated by family member Pierre de Benoist, who succeeded Aubert in 2001. Their philosophy emphasizes selective, organic cultivation, natural yeast fermentations, and a winemaking style that uses neutral oak for whites and limited new oak for reds to achieve the purest expression of their terroir.
