Domaine de Mandelot

France

Domaine de Mandelot is a family-run estate in the Hautes Côtes de Beaune, Burgundy, led by François Grangé. The domaine is organically certified and incorporates biodynamic practices, including horse plowing, cover crops, fava beans, and the use of milk rather than sulfur to help manage mildew in some parcels. Its vineyards are planted mainly on clay soils with little limestone and some sand. In the cellar, Grangé follows a natural approach with no added sulfites. The estate’s first vintage was 2023, and the project remains closely tied to family farming, with Grangé also running a small pig farm.
