Château Plince

France

Château Plince is a family-owned Bordeaux estate run by the fourth-generation Moreau family, who acquired it from the Rouchut family. Its single, contiguous vineyard is planted predominantly to Merlot, with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The estate follows a culture raisonnée approach, using leaf-thinning, green harvesting, manual picking and sorting to manage yields and encourage sustainable, climate-adapted viticulture; no formal certifications are listed. Wines are fermented in temperature-controlled concrete vats, undergo malolactic fermentation in oak barrels, and mature for 12–18 months in French oak, with approximately one-third of the barrels renewed annually.
