Château Potensac

France

Château Potensac is a Left-Bank Bordeaux estate in the Médoc, owned by the Delon family under Jean-Hubert Delon and part of Domaines Delon. Dating back to the mid-1800s, the property passed from the Liquard family to the Delons through marriage. Its vineyards are planted mainly to Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc on limestone subsoil with clay and gravel outcrops, including a high proportion of gravel. The estate’s vines average around 38 years of age. Available sources emphasize its long family ownership and classic Médoc terroir; no sustainability certifications or specific winemaker details are disclosed.
