De Falco

Italy

De Falco is a family-owned Campanian winery based in San Sebastiano al Vesuvio, founded in 1990 from a family tradition dating to the postwar period. Now run across three generations by Gabriele, Angelo and Giuliano De Falco, the estate focuses on expressing the Vesuvian territory through DOC, DOCG and IGT wines. Its vineyards include volcanic soils around Vesuvius, as well as sites in Lecce, Brindisi and Taranto. Careful soil management, reduced vineyard treatments and low-yield cultivation support concentrated grapes. The volcanic terrain contributes pronounced minerality, sapidity, freshness and natural acidity, giving the wines distinctive savory, smoky and aromatic complexity. The family’s stated aim is to pursue quality while restoring and promoting the value of the Vesuvian landscape.
