Domaine du Meix-Foulot

France

Domaine du Meix Foulot is an eighth-generation, family-run estate in Mercurey, Burgundy, owned by the de Launay family for more than two centuries. Agnès Dewé de Launay has managed and made the wines since 1996, continuing the work of her father, Paul. The domaine’s vineyards span village and premier cru sites, including the family’s Clos monopole. Its philosophy is to respect Burgundy’s terroirs and reveal the typicity of each site in every cuvée, producing classic wines intended to age. Vineyard work is adapted to climate, vine vigor and desired yields. The estate follows environmentally conscious practices, including HVE level 3 certification, hedgerow and tree preservation, bat boxes, winter sheep grazing, waste recycling and reduced vine-shoot burning.
