Lillian is a California winery founded and owned by winemaker Maggie Harrison, with close ties to Antica Terra. Working with Syrah, Grenache, Roussanne and Cabernet Sauvignon from sites including Bien Nacido, White Hawk and Howell Mountain, Harrison focuses on low yields, careful vineyard management and site-specific expression. The style embraces the natural ripeness of California fruit while seeking levity, lift, transparency and fine detail rather than overcropping or excessive early picking. Notes also describe a deeply hands-on, personal approach in the cellar, from iterative blending to checking bottles by hand, along with a longstanding Gold Series for standout barrels allowed extra time to evolve.
