Laurent Kraft is a family-owned, seven-generation estate in Vouvray, in France’s Loire Valley, with Laurent Kraft as vigneron since 1992. The domaine farms Chenin Blanc—Pineau Blanc de la Loire—on clay-limestone soils with tuffeau subsoil, producing AOC Vouvray sparkling and still wines ranging from dry to sweet. Its traditional, artisanal approach combines reasoned use of treatments with mechanical harvesting and onboard sorting for most wines, while sweet wines are harvested manually. Certified HVE 3 since 2019, the estate places sustainability at the heart of its vineyard work.
