Tormaresca

Italy

Tormaresca is the Antinori family’s Puglia project, established through investments begun in 1998 and centered on the region’s strong territorial identity. Based across two properties, Masseria Maìme in Alto Salento and Tenuta Carrubo in the Manduria DOC area, it focuses on varieties including Primitivo, Negroamaro, Fiano and Chardonnay. The vineyards range from coastal sites near San Pietro Vernotico, set among woods and pine forests, to inland calcareous and clay soils well suited to Primitivo. The estate combines modern viticulture and contemporary winery design with longstanding local traditions, including alberello training. Roycello, from Masseria Maìme, is noted as the estate’s first SQNPI-certified wine, marking a step toward sustainability.
