Producer

Lungarotti

Italy

Lungarotti is a historic family-owned producer in Torgiano, Umbria, founded by Giorgio Lungarotti, a pioneer of modern Italian oenology who helped bring Umbrian wine to wider recognition. Today the estate remains under family guidance through the Lungarotti Foundation, led by Chiara Lungarotti, Teresa Lungarotti, Maria Grazia Lungarotti and the next generation. From Torgiano and Montefalco, Lungarotti focuses on quality wines rooted in local tradition while embracing innovation, with strong attention to sustainability, precision viticulture and biodiversity. Its cultural dimension is central too, reflected in the family’s museums, educational work and longstanding role in wine tourism and the promotion of Umbrian wine culture.
