Producer

Ladeiras do Xil

Spain

Ladeiras do Xil is an extremely low-production, single-vineyard estate in Galicia’s Bibei River Valley, spanning the Valdeorras and Ribeira Sacra appellations. Founded, managed and made by Pablo Eguzkiza, Telmo Rodríguez and Jorge Saa, the estate is revitalising the historic Pazo Valbuxán farm and its vineyard sites. Certified organic and farmed regeneratively, it produces grand cru reds and two whites from indigenous, bush-trained varieties. Grapes are hand-harvested, with indigenous yeasts and spontaneous fermentations reflecting a hands-off, site-focused approach.
