Domaine de la Borie Blanche

France

Domaine de la Borie Blanche is a family-run estate in Languedoc-Roussillon, owned and managed by Maison Lorgeril. Acquired by Nicolas and Miren de Lorgeril in 1999, it is now operated by them alongside their son Henri, representing the family’s 13th generation. The vineyards lie at high altitude on predominantly schist soils, with plantings described as forming a south-facing amphitheatre. Nicolas leads the winemaking, with Miren also involved, using 5,000-litre French oak vats and barrel ageing for part of the production. The estate’s wines reflect a hands-on family approach rooted in the Minervois.
