Founded in 2002 by Dorli Muhr and Dirk Niepoort, Weingut Dorli Muhr is now wholly owned and led by Dorli Muhr, with support from her daughter Anna. Based in Niederösterreich, the estate farms vineyards in the Spitzerberg nature reserve, focusing on Blaufränkisch. Its vineyards have been certified organic since 2018 and are also managed according to biodynamic practices. Dorli Muhr is the primary winemaker, continuing a small-scale, sustainably focused approach.
