Joseph-Jibril is a Sonoma County micro-winery founded and run by co-owners and winemakers Bobby Huff and Jaam Moynihan, who began making wine together in 2021 after years working in other cellars. Based in a shared facility in Healdsburg, they source fruit from small family-owned vineyards practicing organic farming, rather than farming estate vines themselves. Their hands-on, bootstrapped approach includes shared labor, rented equipment, and a focus on keeping winemaking personal and accessible. Native fermentation and minimal intervention are used to preserve the character of each vineyard, resulting in lively, fresh, approachable wines, including Valdiguié from old vines in Green Valley Vineyard. Their stated aim is to make sound, expressive wines for everyone to enjoy.
