Mocali is a family-run estate in Montalcino, Tuscany, founded in 1956 by Dino Ciacci and now operated by Tiziano Ciacci, his wife Alessandra Mililotti, and their daughter Pamela. The estate spans about 43 hectares, with 10–13 hectares of vineyards on galestro, limestone, and sandstone soils at altitudes of 220–350 meters. Certified organic practices are used in the vineyards. Winemaking is traditional, employing native yeasts, fermentation in large oak vats, and extended aging in Slavonian oak barrels. Annual production is around 150,000 bottles, including roughly 60,000 bottles of Brunello. The family also owns the Suberli estate in the Maremma, emphasizing a hands-on approach and a deep connection to the territory.
