Le Monde

Italy

Le Monde is a family-run winery in western Friuli, owned by Alex Maccan, who acquired the estate in 2008 with his wife Marta Paladin and partners Giovanni and Massimo. Originally founded in 1970, the estate now spans about 120–130 ha of vineyards and produces roughly 700,000 bottles annually. Winemaking is led by Giovanni Ruzzene. The winery is SQNPI certified and employs sustainable practices, including solar-generated electricity (70–90% of power), no herbicides, water-recycling, low-emission machinery, and fully recycled packaging, with ongoing eco-upgrades planned for 2026.
