Producer

Jacques Lassaigne

France

Jacques Lassaigne is a family-owned Champagne producer based in Montgueux in the Aube, founded in 1964 and led by Emmanuel Lassaigne since 1999. Emmanuel serves as both vigneron and winemaker, continuing a hands-on, estate-focused approach. The vineyards are farmed with certified organic and biodynamic-inspired practices, with manual vineyard work, hand-harvesting, natural grass cover, and no pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. Winemaking is low-intervention, including native yeast fermentations, lees aging, and parcel-by-parcel vinification. Planted predominantly to Chardonnay on chalk and clay soils, the estate is known for vineyard-focused Blanc de Blancs that emphasize terroir expression.
