Michel Bouzereau & Fils is a seven-generation family domaine based in Meursault, Burgundy, now led by Jean-Baptiste Bouzereau, who took charge in 1999. Family-run and rooted in traditional Burgundian viticulture, the estate farms organically, has been herbicide-free since 2005, and is moving toward biodynamic methods with ploughing reintroduced for soil health. Vineyard work emphasizes careful observation, short pruning, severe debudding, natural products and entirely manual harvesting. In the cellar, Jean-Baptiste follows a low-intervention approach with native-yeast fermentations, slow pressing for whites, long lees aging, and measured élevage in barrel or tank depending on the appellation, aiming for wines of balance, precision and full fruit.
