Alhambra is the entry-level label of family-owned Finca Abril in Mendoza’s high-altitude Uco Valley, with vineyards in La Consulta and Altimara. Founded in 1996 on land planted to vines in 1922, the estate works cool-climate sites with well-draining alluvial soils. Alhambra focuses on younger vines while retaining the estate’s low-yield, hand-pruned and hand-harvested approach. Its limited-edition, single-vineyard wines are made with an emphasis on sustainability, supported by organic certification, sustainable treatments and vegan-friendly practices.
