Founded in 1964 by Georges Duboeuf and based in Romanèche-Thorins, Georges Duboeuf remains a family-owned négociant house, now led by his son Franck, with winemaking shared with Aurélien Duboeuf. The Maison works with more than 300 partner growers and sources grapes across Beaujolais, Mâconnais and Burgundy, seeking to express the character of individual appellations and terroirs. Its Beaujolais wines are rooted in Gamay, including fruit-driven Beaujolais Nouveau and more structured cru bottlings, while its collections range from Fleurs and Signature to Domaines & Châteaux, Lieux-dits and Prestige. The latter highlights rare cuvées from exceptional terroirs, old vines, strong vintages and extended élevage, including new French oak. The company states that it encourages sustainable or organic practices among growers and works to reduce packaging, waste, water, energy use and synthetic inputs. Its Hameau Duboeuf visitor centre celebrates the region’s wine heritage and the growers behind it.
