Dominique Lafon is a longstanding family domaine in Burgundy, rooted in the Lafon family since 1865 and based around Meursault, Volnay, Puligny-Montrachet and Beaune, with additional Mâconnais holdings under Les Héritiers des Comtes Lafon. Dominique Lafon led the estate from 1987 until 2021, with day-to-day management now in the hands of his daughter Léa and nephew Pierre, while winemaking is shared across the family. The domaine focuses on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from upper-slope and premier cru parcels, farmed biodynamically since 1995 and Ecocert certified from 1998. Synthetic products have been banned since 1992, and the estate is noted for low yields.
