Château Bousquette

France

Château Bousquette is a family-run Saint-Chinian estate managed on-site by Swiss winemakers Eric and Isabelle Perret, who acquired it in 1996. The domaine has followed the Nature et Progrès approach since 1972 and is Ecocert-certified, with cultivation free from chemical fertilisers, herbicides and pesticides. Vineyard work includes ploughing, green manures and natural compost made from sheep manure and grape marc. Set on clay-limestone and calcareous sandstone slopes overlooking the Orb valley, the estate produces red, white and rosé wines from Languedoc varieties, using traditional pruning and restrained cellar work. Wines are matured primarily in tank, with limited barrel ageing for selected cuvées.
