Marenco is a family-run winery in Strevi, Piedmont, producing wines since 1925 across four generations. Its vineyards in Strevi, Cassine, Fontanile and Castel Boglione focus on traditional Monferrato varieties including Moscato, Barbera, Brachetto and Albarossa, with winemaking, ageing and bottling carried out at the Strevi cellar. The family follows sustainable and organic farming practices, using targeted manual vineyard work and non-systemic treatments, while adapting its methods to climate change. Wines are made to express variety and place, with a patient, deliberate approach that values balance, elegance and longevity. The Scrapona cru is the estate’s flagship vineyard and the starting point for its important Moscato di Strevi project, while Patrizia Marenco has also helped develop one of Piedmont’s earliest Albarossa plantings.
