Château Vannières is a family-run domaine in La Cadière d’Azur, near Bandol, rooted in Provence’s clay-limestone terroir and shaped by the sea and Mistral. Acquired by Lucien Boudot and now carried forward by Eric Boisseaux and his son Charles-Eric, the estate reflects a strong tradition of intergenerational transmission. Eric works as naturally as possible, seeking to preserve the richness of the land and allow the grape varieties to express themselves. Drawing on winemaking knowledge inherited from the family’s Burgundian origins and adapted to Provence’s dry, rugged conditions, the wines aim for distinctive directness and elegance. The family balances inherited practice with contemporary curiosity and technology, while making wines intended both for the table and for relaxed drinking.
