Poderi Morini is a family-run estate in the Oriolo dei Fichi hills of Romagna, founded in 1998 and now led by Alessandro Morini with his wife Daniela. Its vineyards lie on the calcareous, sandstone-rich Spungone Romagnolo, influenced by Adriatic and Apennine breezes. The estate focuses on recovering and expressing native varieties including Sangiovese, Albana, Centesimino, Longanesi and Trebbiano, with hand-harvesting and careful grape selection. Environmental efforts include grassed soils, integrated pest management, reduced agrochemical use, solar power and lightweight recycled-glass bottles. Winemaking is overseen by Alessandro Morini with oenologist Maurizio Castelli and agronomist Luciano Lusa, producing distinctive wines rooted in Romagna’s traditions.
