Poderi Luigi Einaudi

Italy

Poderi Luigi Einaudi is a long-established family estate in Dogliani, Piedmont, founded in 1897 by Luigi Einaudi, later Italy’s first President, and carried forward across four generations of the Einaudi family. Rooted in the Langhe, the estate farms vineyards in Dogliani as well as noted Barolo sites including Cannubi, Terlo, Bussia/Dardi, with more recent access to Monvigliero. The winery emphasizes elegance, territorial identity, and respect for terroir, blending tradition with innovation. Winemaking is overseen by Beppe Caviola. No sustainability certifications or specific farming practices are mentioned in the sources. The estate has received broad critical recognition and is presented as a historic producer with deep ties to the culture of the land.
