Meyer Family Cellars is a small, family-owned boutique winery in California’s Yorkville Highlands, founded in 1987 by Silver Oak co-founders Justin and Bonny Meyer and now run by their son Matt and his wife, Karen. The couple share winemaking duties, bringing complementary viticulture, enology, and international harvest experience to a hands-on, three-person operation. Working with carefully farmed grapes from Mendocino County’s Yorkville Highlands and Anderson Valley, as well as Oakville, the winery produces Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and aged tawny port, combining old-world acidity and minerality with new-world fruit. Its Yorkville vineyards have thin, poorly nourished soils. No organic or biodynamic certification is mentioned.
