France

Lucien Crochet is a family-run Sancerre estate based in Bué in the Loire Valley. Long led by Gilles Crochet, son of founder Lucien Crochet, the domaine is now carried forward by Laurence Crochet and the family team. It works with Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir across Bué and nearby communes, on classic Sancerre soils including caillottes, terres blanches, griottes and clay-limestone terroirs. The estate produces white, red and rosé Sancerre with a clear focus on authenticity and terroir expression, including some single-parcel wines. Vineyard work combines traditional pruning, grass cover or ploughing, manual harvest, and organic amendments, with lutte raisonnée since 1989 and a current conversion toward organic viticulture.
