Château Dalem is a historic family-run estate in Fronsac, Bordeaux, on clay-limestone soils. The property dates to the 18th century, with vineyards established in 1610, and was acquired by Michel Rullier in 1955. Since 2002, Brigitte Rullier-Loussert has led the estate, joined by her son Charles Pouvreau in 2018. The vineyard is planted mainly to Merlot with Cabernet Franc, and the domaine farms with a reasoned approach oriented toward bio-control; it has held HVE certification since 2017. Harvesting is entirely manual with plot-by-plot selection and densimetric sorting. Vinification takes place in thermoregulated concrete and stainless steel vats, followed by French oak aging. Since 2019, consultant oenologist Eric Boissenot has helped shape refined, balanced wines.
