Producer

Sella & Mosca

Italy

Founded in 1899 by Erminio Sella and Edgardo Mosca, Sella & Mosca is a historic Sardinian estate based in Alghero, with vineyards extending into Gallura and Sulcis. Now part of Terra Moretti Vino and owned by the Moretti family since 2016, it is led in the cellar by chief winemaker Giovanni Pinna. The estate farms certified organic vineyards without synthetic pesticides and promotes biodiversity with native trees and plants among the vines. Its sites span calcareous, clayey, iron-rich sandy, granite, and mineral-rich sandy soils, supporting a range of Sardinian appellations. The producer emphasizes terroir, time, environmental care, and the island’s history and people.
