Domaine Eden is a boutique mountaintop estate in California, acquired by Mount Eden Vineyards in 2007 and overseen by majority owners Jeffrey and Ellie Patterson, with Jeffrey also serving as head winemaker. Founded and planted by Tom Mudd in 1983, the property focuses on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from its estate and nearby vineyards, alongside Bordeaux varieties associated with Mount Eden. Its wines follow Mount Eden’s sustainability ethos, including dry-farming, low yields, indigenous fermentations with natural yeasts, and no fining or filtration. The estate’s approach emphasizes site expression and minimal intervention, with no formal sustainability certifications noted.
