Azienda Agricola Tre Pile

Italy

Azienda Agricola Tre Pile is a fourth-generation, family-owned estate in Bussia Soprana, Monforte d’Alba, producing wines from its own vineyards since 1852. Carlo Ghisolfi, a graduate of the Alba Oenological Institute, now serves as owner and winemaker, combining innovative ideas with the family’s traditional methods. The estate focuses on Barolo and Langhe Nebbiolo, seeking to express the character of the prestigious Tre Pile slope and surrounding Langhe vineyards. Farming emphasizes respect for nature and biodiversity, without stated formal certification. Vinification and ageing take place underground in naturally suitable cellars, without mechanical ventilation, preserving longstanding family practices. The winery welcomes visitors for tours and tastings, with panoramic views across the UNESCO-listed Langhe.
