Domaine de Vaccelli

France

Domaine de Vaccelli is a family-run estate in Corsica’s Taravo valley within the Ajaccio AOC, owned by the Courrèges family since 1962 and now led by Gérard Courrèges with Nathalie Courrèges. The estate farms indigenous varieties including Sciaccarellu and Vermentinu on granite and granite-sandstone hillsides, with many older vines. Organic farming has been practiced since 2008 and certified since 2019, with all vineyard work and harvesting done by hand. In the cellar, the approach is low-intervention: natural estate yeasts, volcanic sulphur, wines that are unfined and mostly unfiltered, and élevage in concrete eggs and large demi-muids. The range is limited-lot and quality-focused.
