Cascina Gasparda

Italy

Cascina Gasparda is a family-run estate in Piedmont’s Genza Valley, Monferrato, founded by brothers Roberto and Mauro Salvaneschi in 2010 and managed year-round with their parents, Patrizia and Pietro. Its vineyards, planted on marl and white limestone soils, include vines from 20 to over 80 years old. Certified organic from inception, the estate has adopted biodynamic practices, minimal tillage, cover-cropping, and reduced copper and sulfur use, and is a member of Vinnatur. The wines follow a natural, low-intervention approach, with spontaneous fermentations, no temperature control, and minimal sulfites.
